I’m thrilled to be speaking at a public event hosted by Buller REAP and WestREAP in Hokitika on Tuesday 1 April, with a talk called:
“I Can’t Be Dyslexic, Because I Can Read and Spell!”
In this session, I’ll be diving into the real impact of dyslexia beyond the usual stereotypes. We’ll explore how dyslexia affects learning, emotions, and daily life in ways that often get overlooked, and highlight the hidden strengths that dyslexic thinking brings to our communities and workplaces.
Date: Tuesday 1 April 2025
Time: 7:00–9:30pm
Location: Regent Theatre, Hokitika
The evening will include a 60-minute presentation followed by a Q&A — a great chance to ask questions and have a chat.
This event is part of the wider REAP conference programme. Full event details and registration can be found here:
Whether you’re a parent, educator, employer, or just curious, I’d love to see you there. Let’s challenge some myths and explore how we can unlock the potential of dyslexic minds together!
